Who we are
SeaStories is a private boat charter operator based in Kato Katelios Village, Kefalonia, Greece. Contact for data questions: info@seastories.gr.
What data we collect and how
This website is a static site hosted on a CDN. It has an on-site inquiry form, no account registration, and card payment through Nexi's hosted page rather than on this site; we never see or store your card number. We do not set any tracking cookies, and we do not run advertising pixels.
When you choose to reach us, data passes through the channel you select:
- WhatsApp. If you contact us via our WhatsApp link, your message and phone number are received by SeaStories through WhatsApp (a Meta Platforms service). WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs that channel.
- Email. If you email us at info@seastories.gr, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use this information only to reply to your inquiry.
- Phone. If you call us, we receive your number through your telephone carrier. We use it only to return your call or confirm your booking.
Booking and passenger manifest data
When you confirm a cruise, Greek Coast Guard regulations require us to collect a passenger manifest. The fields collected (full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender, and cruise date) are used solely to satisfy this legal requirement. We do not sell, share, or use this information for any other purpose. See our Booking Essentials page for the full list of fields.
Hosting and server logs
This site is served via a static hosting provider. Like all web servers, the host may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for infrastructure and security purposes. We do not access or analyse individual visitor logs.
Third-party services
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms. Used when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Subject to WhatsApp's own terms and Meta's data policy.
- Instagram & Facebook. Our social pages are hosted by Meta Platforms. Visiting those pages is governed by Meta's terms.
- Nexi Payments (XPay). Our card payment provider. When you pay a deposit, you are taken to Nexi's secure hosted page, where you enter your name, email, mobile number and card details. Those details are processed by Nexi, not by us. We never see or store your card number.
- Web3Forms. Delivers our website contact form. When you send the form, what you typed reaches our inbox through Web3Forms: your name, email address, phone number, the number of guests, your message, and the cruise and date you were asking about, together with your language and the page you sent it from. Your browser sends the form to Web3Forms directly, so they also see your IP address. We collect nothing else through the form, and we do not use any of it for another purpose.
We do not embed trackers from any of these services on this site itself.
Data retention
Inquiry messages (WhatsApp, email, phone) are kept for the duration needed to handle your booking and for a reasonable period afterward. Passenger manifest data is retained as long as required by Greek maritime regulations. We do not hold personal data for longer than necessary.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@seastories.gr. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We recommend checking this page occasionally if you are a returning guest.
Terms of use
The service
SeaStories offers private whole-boat charter cruises from Kefalonia, Greece. Every cruise is exclusive to your group; there are no shared departures. Our products are called Cruises; prices are as quoted.
Reservations, deposits and refunds
A deposit secures your requested date: €750 for our day cruises, or €400 for the Sunset Cruise. You can pay it by card through Nexi's secure hosted page, or arrange it with us directly. The balance is paid on board on the day, by card or cash.
Paying a deposit places your request. We confirm every booking personally, usually within a few hours. In the rare case that your date cannot be confirmed, your deposit is refunded in full.
Once your booking is confirmed, our cancellation terms apply. 100% refund for cancellations 5+ days before departure; no refund within 5 days.

Conduct on board
The captain's instructions must be followed at all times for the safety of all guests. SeaStories reserves the right to end a cruise early if a guest's behaviour puts others at risk, without refund.
Pricing and availability
Prices shown on this website are indicative and subject to change. Confirmed prices are those agreed in your booking communication. We confirm availability personally, not by payment of a deposit alone.
Limitation of liability
SeaStories is not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our control (weather, sea conditions, mechanical issues requiring a route change). In all cases our liability is limited to the amount paid for the cruise in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kefalonia, Greece.
